YCT 2 Chinese Grammar
YCT 2 Chinese Grammar
Youth Chinese Test (YCT), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses the primary and middle school students' abilities to use Chinese as second language in their daily and academic lives.
The YCT (Level II) tests test takers’ ability in daily use of Chinese. It is the counterpart of the Level I of the Chinese Language Proficiency Scales for Speakers of Other Languages and the A1 Level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEF). Test takers who are able to pass the YCT (Level II) can understand and use some simple Chinese phrases and sentences and cope with basic level communications.
The YCT (Level II) is intended for young students who have studied Chinese for a semester (half an academic year), with 2-3 class hours per week. These students have mastered 150 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.
The "International Chinese Language Education Standards for Chinese Proficiency Levels" were released on March 31, 2021 and will be formally implemented on July 1, 2021. Within just two months of the release, I became the first person in the world to compile a vocabulary list with the best possible English. This was made possible thanks to the 10 years of effort I put into building my database, which includes over 500,000 vocabulary words that served as the foundation for editing my textbooks.
Students who have used my vocabulary list have called it "life-saving" for their exams. My book provides a quick revision guide for those preparing for exams, so be sure to grab a copy! We appreciate your support as we strive to create better content for you. It has taken us years of hard work to edit this book, so please respect our copyrights.
